The National May Day Women's Pacemaker Award Ceremony of 2023 was grandly held in Beijing on March 24, honoring outstanding female workers who have emerged in various fields since 2021. Professor Ying Hu from the laboratory was awarded the title of "National May Day Women's Pacemaker."
Established by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the National May Day Women's Pacemaker Award is presented every two years. It aims to promote the spirit of model labor, hard work, and craftsmanship, inspiring and encouraging female workers to fully leverage their role as "half the sky" in the journey of building a strong nation and achieving national rejuvenation.
